Daneliya Tuleshova is a singer from Kazakhstan who first gained attention in 2015 by winning the Children's New Wave competition in Russia. She was born in Nur-Sultan, which was called Astana at the time. Her early recognition came from that televised contest, which led to more performance opportunities.
Her 2019 single "Lucky Me (Radio Edit)" became a breakout track, and she's also released songs like "Don't Cha," "Glossy," and "Like You Used To." In 2020, she put out a debut album with a Kazakh title that translates to "Embrace Yourself." The album included both pop material and some traditional Kazakh compositions.
She's performed as a solo artist with backing musicians. In 2019, she received a Best Young Artist award at the MUZ-TV Awards, and the following year she got a Breakthrough of the Year award at the Golden Gramophone Awards.
