Daniel Ansor

Daniel Ansor was a Brazilian musician who formed his band in 1970. He came from São Paulo, and his music drew from folk, pop, and bossa nova. In 1973, the group released their debut album, which included the song 'Ao Meu Violão.' That track became widely known in Brazil, though some critics at the time questioned its origins.

He recorded several albums in the following years, like 'Passagem de Nível' in 1975 and 'Estação das Flores' in 1983. Other songs in his catalog include 'A Cara do Rio' and 'A Luz de Uma Cidade.' His band included musicians such as Juarez Moreira on guitar and Cacá Moraes on bass.

Daniel Ansor worked with artists like Milton Nascimento and Elis Regina. He received the Order of Cultural Merit in 2011.
