Daniel Azulay is a Brazilian musician who released his self-titled debut album in 2006. That collection included some samba tunes and ballads. Four years later, his second album arrived with the title track "Algodão Doce," which became a major hit in Brazil. The song blends pop with Brazilian rhythms.
Other songs in his catalog include "Xicória," "Professor Pirajá," "Alô, Alô," and "Nó Em Pingo D'água." He has put out two more studio albums since 2010: "Som de Amor" in 2014 and "Tudo Passa" in 2018.
Azulay performs with a band that includes Pedro Altério on drums, Fabiano Marculano on bass, Marcelo Araújo on keyboards, and Ede Rodrigues on percussion. He handles vocals and guitar himself.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
