Daniel Celedón

Daniel Celedón grew up in Villanueva, Colombia, where he learned vallenato from his grandfather, an accordionist. That traditional sound, built around accordion melodies and direct vocals, became his foundation.

His song "Infiel" connected with listeners in the late 1990s, turning into a radio staple about the sting of betrayal. Other tracks like "Que Le Diré Al Corazón" and "A Fuego Lento" followed a similar emotional path, dealing plainly with heartache and longing.

He kept recording through the 2000s and 2010s, putting out albums like "El Inquieto" and "El Patrón." While his music sometimes incorporated other styles, his voice stayed at the center, a straightforward, expressive instrument for stories about love and loss.
