Daniel DNA is a Brazilian band formed in 2005 by singer and songwriter Daniel Costa. He put together a group that included drummer Vinicius Feijão, bassist Thiago Tambor, and guitarist Yuri Bigode. Their first album came out in 2007, and the single 'Ket a Faia' got some attention in Brazil.
They've put out a few more records since then, like 'DNA Vivo' in 2010, 'DNA 3' in 2013, and an acoustic album in 2017. The music mixes samba and reggae with some hip-hop elements, which gives it a particular groove. There was some legal trouble around 2012 over song rights, but they kept working after that.
