Daniel Góthon grew up in Rio de Janeiro, where he sang in church choirs as a child. He later developed a style that drew from Brazilian rhythms and artists like Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso.
In 2010, his song "O Preço Mais Alto" sparked national debate with lyrics that addressed violence and corruption in Brazilian society. The track appeared on his debut album "Deserto" from 2005, and he released another album called "Caos" in 2021.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
