A Mexican indie rock group known for direct, emotional songs with emo and post-punk touches.
For a sense of their sound, try 'Hoy No' or 'Adiós Adiós'. They're a band that writes direct, emotional songs, and that's enough.
They formed in Guadalajara around 2015 and put out their debut EP 'Déjala que Baile' in 2016. Songs like 'Hoy No' and 'Adiós Adiós' show their lean toward indie rock with personal lyrics, and they've found listeners in Mexico and elsewhere. Their music is built around Daniel Zepeda's vocals and Pablo Oseguera's guitar, with a lineup that settled with Christian Jean on bass and Mertxe Aldunate on drums.
They released the full-length 'Nuevos Aires' in 2017, followed by 'Contra Todo' in 2019 after some public difficulties the previous year. In 2021, they put out 'No Podemos Volver', with tracks like 'Mirarte' and 'Lo Hice, Te Dejé' circulating widely.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
