Daniel Rodrigues came up through the funk scene in Rio de Janeiro. He got his break in 2016 when MC Kevinho brought him in to collaborate on "Funk do Renato Garcia," which became a hit in Brazil.
His debut album was called "Favela Vive." He later put out self-titled work and a live album recorded in São Paulo. Some of his other songs include "Navegar (Em Tuas Águas)" and "Um Novo Dia."
Rodrigues kept working in funk, sometimes mixing in samba or hip-hop sounds. He built a catalog that includes tracks like "Carroça Vazia" and "Tudo Passa."
