Danielly Urckles came out of São Paulo with a sound that didn't quite fit the usual Brazilian pop categories. Their music mixed synthesizers with ambient touches, and songs like 'Fliperama' and 'Mexe Essa Bunda Agora' had a particular electronic pulse that caught attention.
They released their debut album 'Data' in 2004, which built on that synth-pop foundation. The band included Danielly Ucker on vocals, Rodrigo Veríssimo on synthesizers, Mário Sampaio on percussion and programming, and Marcos Araújo on bass.
Their work had a certain atmospheric quality, heard in tracks like 'Ondas' and 'Sair Para Ver o Mar,' that gave their electropop a slightly different texture than what was common at the time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
