Danilo e Donato are a Brazilian sertanejo duo made up of brothers Danilo Resende and Donato Resende. They're from Goiás and started performing as teenagers at local festivals. In 2011, they began working with producer Netto Camargo.
Their 2013 debut album, also called "Apaixonado Por Ela," brought them national attention. That song became their breakout hit. They followed it with other tracks like "Não Quero Mais" in 2015 and "Faz de Conta" in 2016.
In 2015, they faced plagiarism allegations regarding "Não Quero Mais," which they denied. Their personal lives also drew public attention around that time. They kept releasing music through the late 2010s, including "Meu Abrigo" in 2018 and "Copo Vazio" in 2020.
