Danilo e Fabinho

Danilo Vieira and Fabinho Gonçalves started performing together in São Paulo around 1999. Their first album came out in 2004, with the title track 'Rumo Certo' becoming a hit. Other songs like 'Estrela Da Sorte' and 'O Bonde É Fé Em Deus' also found an audience.

They kept making music through the 2000s and 2010s, putting out albums like 'Amor Maior' in 2007 and 'Além do Céu' in 2014. Their sound worked with sertanejo traditions but had room for other influences. They played with artists like Ivete Sangalo and Gusttavo Lima at different points.

Danilo handled most of the vocals while Fabinho played guitar and helped arrange the music. Their lyrics often touched on faith, family, and getting by, which connected with people in Brazil and elsewhere. The duo's catalog includes straightforward songs about daily life, from 'Mãe' to '157 Desde Pivete'.
