Danny Dodger was a death metal band known for their 1988 song "Death Metal Friday." The track became something of an anthem in certain circles, giving the band its main point of recognition. Their lineup included Damien Virus on vocals and guitar, Malice Chrome on lead guitar, Graves on bass, and Reaper on drums.
They released several albums in the late 80s and 90s, including 'Graveyard Shift' in 1990 and 'Hellbound' in 1992. Their stage shows and lyrics sometimes drew criticism and led to protests. The band broke up around 2000 after releasing 'Apocalypse,' but played some reunion shows starting in 2015.
