Danylo Max came up in São Paulo, Brazil, and started making music in the early 2000s with the band Os Prettos. He went solo a decade later, putting out his debut album O Meu Samba in 2014. His song 'Me Sinto Só' broke through in 2017, topping charts and connecting with listeners across the country.
That track, along with others like 'Cuida de Mim' and 'Falta de Você', anchored his sound in samba and funk influences. His lyrics often touched on everyday life in Brazil, which drew both a strong fanbase and some criticism over their content. In 2019, he was arrested for drug possession, an incident he later addressed publicly.
He kept recording after that, releasing the album Tudo É Nada in 2020. His music stayed rooted in those Brazilian styles, straightforward and direct, without much studio polish or grand production.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
