Dark Angels

Dark Angels formed in Los Angeles in the late 1980s, playing heavy metal with a focus on guitar riffs and drumming. Their 1991 album 'Time Does Not Heal' included the song 'Morning After,' which became well-known among their fans. The band's lineup changed over time, with guitarist Jim Durkin leaving in 1993.

They released albums like 'Darkness Descends' in 1986 and 'Leave Scars' in 1989. Other songs in their catalog include 'Disney Medley' and 'I Won't Last a Day Without You.' The band's music often dealt with personal themes, though some of their lyrics drew criticism.

By the mid-1990s, they had put out 'Beyond Salvation,' and much later, 'The New Order' in 2017. Members like Ron Rinehart on vocals and Eric Meyer on guitar were part of the group at various points. Their sound mixed thrash and power metal elements, but they never reached widespread commercial success.

Dark Angels kept a following in metal circles, with 'Morning After' remaining a highlight for listeners. The band's story is one of persistence through lineup shifts and changing musical trends, without the dramatic breakthroughs or collapses that sometimes define such narratives.
