Darwin Hobbs is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who formed a band under his own name in the 1990s. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1997, featuring the single 'Everyday.' That song reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1999, which brought the band some mainstream attention.

After that initial success, the group faced some internal changes. Bassist Marc Nelson and drummer Steve Mullins left in 2005. The band went on hiatus around 2008. They reunited for a performance in 2016 and released another album called 'Brotherhood' the following year.

Alongside 'Everyday,' other songs in their catalog include 'We Worship You Today,' 'Better Is One Day,' and 'Free.'
