Dash 13 formed in Brasília in 2014, with Daniel Verissimo on vocals and guitar, Dan Abranches on guitar and vocals, Edu Netto on bass and vocals, and Guilherme Maia on drums. Their debut single "Eu e Você" caught on quickly, becoming something of an anthem for young listeners in Brazil. The song's straightforward melody and relatable lyrics gave the band an early foothold.
They followed with the album O Céu é o Limite in 2015, then Flores e Cores in 2017. In 2020 they put out the EP Reflexos. Other songs like "Medo de Tentar" and "Por Quê?" kept their sound in the pop-rock lane with acoustic touches. In 2018, Verissimo was arrested for drug possession, which caused some public trouble for the band, but they kept working.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
