Dash Berlin

Dash Berlin started as a Dutch trance trio in 2007, with Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg, and Sebastiaan Molijn making up the original lineup. Their early work leaned into the kind of soaring, melodic trance that defined the late 2000s scene, and their debut single 'Till The Sky Falls Down' became a staple in sets around that time.

They often worked with vocalists to give their tracks a more accessible, emotional edge. Songs like 'Waiting' with Emma Hewitt and 'Shelter' with Roxanne Emery showed their preference for pairing big synth lines with clear, melodic singing, a formula that connected with a lot of listeners outside the traditional trance crowd.

In 2018, the group's lineup shifted when Sutorius departed and Armin van Buuren stepped in. That change drew some attention and discussion from fans, but the project continued releasing music under the Dash Berlin name.
