Dave Melillo

Dave Melillo is a singer-songwriter from Mount Vernon, New York, born in 1964. He signed with Atlantic Records in 1990 and released his self-titled debut album that same year, which included 'All I Want For Christmas.' That song became a holiday standard, though it drew some criticism at the time for what some saw as materialistic lyrics.

Beyond that Christmas hit, Melillo has a catalog of other songs like 'Morris County Blues,' 'Knights of the Island Counter,' and 'Read Between The Lines.' He released several more albums in the 1990s, including 'David' in 1992 and 'Christmas Remembered' in 1993. He's also worked with artists like Taylor Dayne and Jimmy Osmond on various projects.

Melillo faced financial difficulties in the early 2000s that led to bankruptcy, but he continued performing and releasing music independently. He's married to actress and singer Sherri Saum, and they have two children together.
