The band's lineup featured guitarist Alan Niven, bassist Mike Brignardello, and drummer David Huff.
Giant's music stood apart from the heavy metal and glam rock that was popular at the time, leaning more toward rock with pop and alternative touches. Sardy's vocals had a haunting quality, and Niven's guitar work often soared over the band's intricate arrangements. They released several albums through the 1990s, including 'Time to Burn' in 1992 and 'Giant III' in 1995.
Later recordings like 'Stacked Deck' in 2010 and 'Shifting Time' in 2014 show the band continuing to work. Sardy has also produced music for other artists, and his song 'Nobody To Love' features Josh Homme.
