David & Elvis are an acoustic duo from Rio de Janeiro who started playing together in 2004. Their sound mixes pop and rock with Brazilian rhythms, and they've cited The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Chico Buarque as influences. David Corrente handles lead vocals and acoustic guitar, while Elvis Pires provides harmony vocals and acoustic guitar.
Their debut album came out in 2004 and included the song "Dona de Mim." They followed it with several other records, including Luz Real in 2007, Acústico in 2010, Tudo Pode Mudar in 2013, and Ao Vivo em Botafogo in 2016. Some of their other well-known tracks are "É Doideira," "Ela Pode," "Fica Comigo," and "Filho."
They've recorded live albums at venues like Rio's Canecão concert hall.
