David Guedes and Henrique Marques started playing together as teenagers in the late 1990s. Their first single, "Nada Dura Para Sempre," came out in 2000 and caught on quickly in Brazil. They've put out six albums since then, mixing pop with sertanejo and slower romantic songs like "Pensando Em Voce."
They've had some legal trouble over copyright claims, but kept recording through it. David usually handles the main vocals while Henrique plays guitar and adds harmonies.
Their songs "Alegrandro o Brasil" and "Eu Sou o Cara" show the upbeat side of what they do. They haven't released much new material in recent years, but those early 2000s tracks still get played.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
