Day 26 formed in Boston in 2003 as a quartet with Robert Curry, Willie Taylor, Brian Angel, and Michael McCluney. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2008 and reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart. That record included songs like 'Got Me Going' and 'Let It Go.'
In 2009 they released a second album called 'Forever in a Day.' Willie Taylor left the group the following year to work on his own material. Their third album, 'A New Day,' arrived in 2012 with a sound that leaned more into R&B and soul.
They put out more music later in the decade, including the albums 'The Return' in 2014 and 'Apart' in 2016. Other tracks from their catalog include 'Emotional,' 'Perfectly Blind,' and 'What It Feels Like.'
