Dead Men Club formed in New York City around 2015, with Max Weinberg on vocals and guitar, Ethan Jones on bass, and Jake Simons on drums. Their debut album 'The Attic' came out in 2017, and the title track 'Attic' became one of their better-known songs. They've also released albums called 'Ghost Stories' and 'Echoes'.
Jones left the band in 2019 and was replaced by bassist Adam Ross. Around that time, there were some questions about whether 'Attic' sounded similar to another folk song, though Weinberg said the melody was original.
Other songs in their catalog include 'C9H15N5O,' 'Death Row,' and 'Her Last Call.' They're still playing as a trio with Weinberg, Simons, and Ross.
