There's a picture of Grandpa and Grandma

outside of an old A&W

Hes got his rimmed glasses on

and her hairs in a bun

you can tell that they thought they were cool

Sometimes i ask grandpa about it

what it was like growing up like they did

oh and i love the way it lights up his face

every time he goes back there again

i think progress is fine

i wish the 50's could come back in style

He said I've seen some changes you'll never see

from general stores to super Wal-Marts

from black and white to colour

smaller, cheaper, faster

and if i could, I'd still turn that clock back

cause life was so good

that all that we had were..
