They released albums like "Pessoal do Sul" in 1978, "Deck Rock Blues" in 1980, "Rádio Pirata" in 1983, and "Cada Dia" in 1985. Their song "A Primeira Pedra" became something of an anthem, with its straightforward rock energy and lyrics that spoke to a younger audience.
In a fairly conservative musical climate at the time, their style and sometimes political lyrics drew some criticism, but also built them a following. Other songs like "Canção Aos Humildes" and "Heróis da Vida" kept to that mix of rock drive and plainspoken themes.
