D&D

D&D was a hard rock band from Los Angeles that formed in the early 1980s. They built their reputation playing underground clubs with a raw, aggressive sound that didn't fit neatly into industry expectations at the time. Their debut album 'Are You Ready' came out in 1986, and the title track became their calling card.

The band's lineup included vocalist Damon Edge, guitarist Dean Davidson, bassist Doug Ferguson, and drummer Dale Foster. They put out five studio albums between 1986 and 1994, including 'Break the Chains' and 'Hell on Earth.' Their songs like 'Be My Lover' and 'In Your Eyes' carried that same hard-charging energy that defined their early club shows.

D&D's lyrics sometimes drew attention for their directness, which seemed to connect with fans who appreciated their straightforward approach. They toured regularly behind their albums, and while they never became household names, 'Are You Ready?' stuck around on rock radio long after the band's active years.
