Deep13

Deep13 formed in London in the late 1990s with Adrian Smith on vocals, Oliver Jones on guitar, Tom Cross on bass, and James Carter on drums. They released their debut album 'Whispers of the Heart' in 2003. The single 'Waiting' from that album became their most recognizable track.

Their music drew attention for what some described as soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. In 2006, they faced some criticism over a music video for another song, 'Breaking the Chains,' which some found too explicit. The band defended their approach at the time.

Beyond that, they kept working. Their story is mostly about a group that started in London, put out an album, and had a song called 'Waiting' that people remember.
