Deepest Blue formed in 1997, with members Ethan James, Alex Carter, Sophia Richards, and Jake Willis. They played early shows at clubs in New York City. Their debut album 'Echoes of the Void' came out in 1999, and its single 'Give It Away' became a hit.
In 2001, they released a third album called 'Tides of Time' and faced a plagiarism claim over a song titled 'Break the Chains.' The legal dispute lasted several years. Other songs from their catalog include 'Shooting Star' and 'Say Goodbye.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
