Werd onze club door de praktijk gedecimeerd
Opeens ontwaakte tegelijk in alle vrouwen
Een nu-of-nooit-gevoel, een warme nesteldrang
Dan kun je praten over trouwen of nooit trouwen
Maar in de Hof van Eden siste weer de slang
Zo heeft de bende nu zo'n twintig junioren
Die taterend scharrelen rond de tafels van 't terras
Door hun geschreeuw kun je je eigen stem niet horen
Maar wie zegt of dat wat je zei belangrijk was
Want als je kinderen hebt in plaats van argumenten
Verruil je graag principes voor een kinderlach
Je wist het zo verschrikkelijk zeker in de Lente
