Deluxe formed in 2004 in Worthing, England, with Craigie Dodds on vocals and guitar, Nick Harte on bass, Paul Mayhew on drums, and Sam Bowen on keyboards. Their debut album 'Ex Lux' came out in 2007, followed by records like 'If Things Were to Get Worse' in 2009 and 'Old Town' in 2015.
In 2010, Dodds was diagnosed with alopecia and spoke publicly about it. Three years later, the band had a legal dispute with their label Wichita Recordings that led to Mayhew and Bowen leaving. They kept going after that.
Their song 'Song For Ana' became particularly well-known among their work, which also includes tracks like 'Daniel' and 'Extra Mile'.
