Demadrugada was a Norwegian trio from Trondheim that formed in 1994. Their debut album came out in 1999, and they released several more records over the next decade, including "A Place Called Nowhere" in 2002 and "A Deadbeat's Lament" in 2008. The band's lineup included Kjartan Kristiansen on vocals and guitar, Frode Jacobsen on guitar, and Simen Vangen on drums.
Their song "Hey Mr. Mr" became one of their best-known tracks. In 2008, they won Norway's Spellemannprisen award for "A Deadbeat's Lament." The group disbanded in 2010 after releasing their final studio album, "Circles."
