Dementor formed in London in 2007. They've kept their identities hidden behind hooded robes, taking their name from the spectral prison guards in the Harry Potter stories. The band has a core trio: Ashmedi on vocals, Seraphina on guitar, and Noctis on bass.
Their 2009 debut EP was called "The Serpent's Kiss." They followed it with the 2012 album "Whispers in the Abyss" and the 2016 album "Requiem for the Damned." In 2014, they released the single "Bones," which became one of their better-known tracks. Other songs in their catalog include "Cold will Rise," "Creature of Darkness," and "Devilish Obsession."
They put out the single "Ashes of the Apocalypse" in 2018.
