Devaneius formed in São Paulo around 2010, originally calling themselves Revolução Urbana before settling on their current name. The lineup has stayed consistent with Leandro Léo on vocals, Felipe Guedes on guitar, Bruno Figueiredo on bass, and Daniel Oliveira on drums.
They released their debut EP as Revolução Urbana in 2013, followed by a self-titled album in 2014. Their song "O Que Eu Deixei Em Você" came out in 2018 and became one of their most recognized tracks.
In 2015, the band faced plagiarism accusations over their single "Sentimento," though the claims were eventually dismissed. They continued putting out music, including the albums "É Só o Começo" in 2016 and "Livre" in 2019.
