Deveras formed in São Paulo in 2005 with vocalist Luana Camillo, guitarist Cadu Moreira, bassist Felipe Rodrigues, and drummer João Barone. They started playing small venues, working with folk melodies and lyrical depth. Their song 'Chuva Breve' became one of their most recognizable tracks.
