A metal band formed by Dez Fafara after leaving Coal Chamber in 2002.
For the full picture, start with 'Clouds Over California' and 'Devil's Son'. That's the sound they built their name on.
They hit hard right out of the gate with that first album 'Trust No One' in 2003. Songs like 'Devil's Son' and 'Clouds Over California' became live staples, built on heavy riffs and Fafara's intense delivery. It's straightforward, aggressive metal that found its audience and stuck with it.
Fafara put the band together with guitarists Mike Spreitzer and Jeff Kendrick after Coal Chamber. They released 'The Last Kind Words' in 2008 and 'Beast' in 2011, while Fafara dealt with some legal trouble that he later connected to getting sober.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
