Sua vida era perfeita em fartura, luxo e planos.
A sua porta, um pobre chamado Lázaro, valia das migalhas pra sua fome saciar.
O homem rico só festejava, enquanto Lázaro sofria na calçada.
Esfomeado e cheio de feridas ninguém o ajudava, todos o excluía.
Mas lá no céu, no reino do Senhor, o pobre, sim, tem seu valor, pois seu sofrer não é em vão.

Um dia tudo mudou. Rico e pobre não importava, pois, a morte aos dois chegava. Nova vida começava.
Os dois morreram. Lázaro foi para o céu, por ser humilde vive na glória de Deus.
Do outro lado, o rico pediu à Abraão para Lázaro poder a sua sede saciar.
Abraão lhe disse:
- Eu te dei tudo na Terra. Você vive esse tormento por não saber partilhar.
- Então me deixe avisar aos meus irmãos. Eles estão pecando como eu pequei.
- Mas lá na Terra já existem os profetas que ensinam a todo o povo tudo o que eu lhes ensinei.
- Que eles ouçam e aprendam tudo que eu vos digo, se forem merecedores viverão aqui comigo.
