Diane Birch

Diane Birch was born in Portland, Maine in 1983. She started writing songs early, influenced by jazz, folk, and classical music, and performed at local open mics as a teenager.

Her debut album 'Bible Belt' came out in 2009 and got some critical attention. The single 'The End' from that record became a notable track for her, along with songs like 'Fools' and 'Rewind' that show her style. She's released a few more albums since then, including 'Speak a Little Louder' in 2013 and 'Girls with Fun Haircuts' in 2023.

In 2012, Birch was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that affected her performing. She's also spoken about her experiences as a woman in the music industry. Her work continues to draw from those personal threads.
