Didou

Didou was a French band that formed around Didier Barbelivien, who handled vocals and lyrics, and Laurent Boutonnat on guitar and production. Their debut album 'La Banane' came out in 1973, followed by the single 'Didou Dessine-moi' that same year.

That song became their most recognizable track, reaching a younger audience in particular. The band released several more albums through the mid-1970s, including 'Jardin de l'enfance' in 1974 and 'La Petite Fée' in 1976.

Françoise Hardy contributed occasional vocals to their recordings. The group's work was sometimes described as mixing pop with folk elements, though their public presence was often overshadowed by various internal and external tensions.
