Die Trying formed in Phoenix around 2008, with Jake Anderson on vocals, Jake Tyler on guitar, Trevor Young on bass, and Ethan Wilkie on drums. They put out an EP called "The Awakening" in 2012. Their first full-length album, "Conquer the World," came out in 2015 and gave the band its name. The title track from that record became a staple for them.
Their sound is aggressive metalcore, with Anderson's vocals and stage presence being a central part of it. They have other songs like "Curse Of The Kiss," "Dirty, Dirty," and "Friends" in their catalog. The band is from Arizona and built a following there before the album came out.
