They released albums like "Suavecito" in 1986 and "Cumbia Sensacional" in 1990. In the early 1990s, they faced a legal battle over copyright issues. The band later put out "El Nuevo Sonido" in 2005.
Other musicians who played with the group included bassist Germán González and guitarist Carlos Villanueva. Digno Perea's music has appeared in films and television shows.
