The band's debut album came out in 2005, featuring the title track 'Augnablik' which gained them some attention.
Their music has included songs like 'Engin Orð' and 'From Now On' alongside 'Augnablik.' In 2006, they faced some public criticism after performing at a concert supporting a political party, which led to discussions about artists and politics. Dikta continued making music after that point.
