Dimensão Dance was a Brazilian electro-pop duo from Rio de Janeiro, formed by Iara Ferreira and Carlos Ribeiro in the early 1990s. That track appeared on their second album, Na Batida do Coração, released in the mid-90s.
They put out a self-titled debut in 1994 and followed it with that second record. Beyond 'Som Do Amor,' they had other songs like 'Fim de Noite' and 'Vim Pra Ficar' that got played in clubs. Ferreira handled vocals and lyrics, while Ribeiro produced and composed. Their sound was built around her voice and his electronic arrangements.
