Dimensões Distorcidas came out of the Brazilian underground in the late 1990s. Their first album, 'Abismo,' arrived in 1998. The band's lineup included Gabriel Tomé on vocals and guitar, Ricardo Bezerra on bass, and Marcelo Vitorino on drums.
They put out 'Demônios Tradicionais' in 2002, which is also the title of one of their notable songs. Their music mixed progressive rock with experimental noise and some heavy elements. Later albums like 'Frequências da Distorção' (2007) and 'Quarto Vazio' (2015) continued in that vein, moving between ambient soundscapes and more aggressive riffs.
Other tracks like 'Jornada Sem Compaixão' and 'O Artista' round out their work. Their sound was often described as challenging, and they developed a reputation for pushing boundaries with both their music and their lyrics.
