Dinossaurus formed in São Paulo in 2006 with Ricardo "RD" Dias on vocals, Rodrigo "Digão" Fernandes on guitar, Cláudio "Claudinho" Souza on bass, and Eduardo "Edo" Gonçalves on drums. They put out their first album, "Dinos É Foda," in 2008.
Their 2011 album "Dia de Fúria" gave them the title track that became one of their most recognized songs. Other tracks like "Hoje" and "Agora Chega" also came from their catalog of thrash metal with punk edges.
In 2014 they dealt with a legal dispute over the name "Dinos" but kept going. They released several more albums through the 2010s, including "Noite Infernal" in 2013 and "Brutalidade Urbana" in 2018.
