Discípulos e Adoradores formed in 1998 in Salvador, Bahia, with a group of young musicians who wanted to create worship music. They started playing at local churches and festivals, building a following despite early financial constraints. Their debut album 'Adoradores' came out in 2005 and found an audience in Brazil's gospel scene.
Their 2012 album 'Jorra em Mim' gave them one of their most recognizable songs. The original lineup included Nilton Júnior on vocals, Junio Abreu on vocals and bass, Marco Loureiro on keyboards, Giani Petri on guitars, and William Nascimento on drums. That configuration changed over time as members came and went.
They've released several albums since, including 'Amor Incondicional' in 2015, 'Deus da Vida' in 2017, and 'Graça' in 2019. Their 2022 album was called 'Adoração em Cores.'
