Background notes

Archive material and source history

Disco Hue is a synth-pop band from London. They released their debut EP 'Neon Dreams' in 2017, which included the single 'Call Me Back.' That song became something of an anthem for people who'd dealt with unrequited love.

In 2018, guitarist and synth player Ethan Leigh was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder and had to step away from the band for a while. The following year, their music video for the song 'Dance with the Devil' drew some criticism for its graphic depiction of addiction, though the band stood by it as a way to address a serious issue.

They've put out two studio albums along with several EPs. Another one of their tracks, 'Gotta Find You,' is among their most popular songs.
