Divisão-Treze formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s with Rodolfo Abrantes on vocals, Edgard Scandurra on guitar, Marcos Túlio on bass, and Sergio Britto on drums. Their debut album came out in 2003, and the single 'Me Iluminaria' became a hit. They followed it with 'O Mundo ao Contrário' in 2006, which showed a more introspective side.
After releasing a few more albums, the band went on hiatus in 2011. They reunited for shows in 2019, with Abrantes having found sobriety by then. Other songs like 'Não Vou Falhar' and 'Pra Você e Pra Mim' also appear in their catalog.
