Divit formed in 2006 as a progressive rock band from the Pacific Northwest. The group included Ethan Morgan on vocals and guitar, Emily Carter on keyboards and vocals, Aiden Hayes on bass, and Jake Wilson on drums. They released their debut album 'Echoes of Eden' in 2008.
In 2012, Divit put out 'The Long Drive Home,' which included the track 'Final Chapter: The Long Drive Home.' The album showed a shift toward more experimental arrangements. Other songs from that period include 'A Reflection' and 'Angel With Broken Wings.'
Around 2010, Ethan Morgan dealt with a vocal cord issue that affected his singing. The band adjusted by leaning more on Emily Carter's vocals and using Ethan's falsetto harmonies. They kept recording through the 2010s with albums like 'Infinite Horizons' in 2015 and 'Anomaly' in 2018.
