D.I.Xavantes

D.I.Xavantes came together in Lisbon, where they developed a sound that mixed Portuguese rhythms with more contemporary influences. Their debut album 'Noites de Agosto' introduced that approach, and they followed it with 'Lua Cheia' in 2015. That same year, they put out 'A Melhor Estrela,' which included tracks like 'Empenhando tudo que dá' and 'Sobreviver ou Morrer.'

The band's lineup featured João Pedro Pais on vocals, Miguel Araújo on guitar, João Correia on bass, and David Fonseca on drums. In 2016, they faced plagiarism accusations regarding the song 'A Melhor Estrela,' which they denied. Their catalog also includes songs such as 'Dias Alienados,' 'Virada Paulista,' and 'Amor, não esqueça.'

They performed shows across Europe, building an audience for their music. Other songs like 'Circuitos Casuais,' 'Contagem Regressiva,' and 'Olha a Onça' round out their work from that period.
