Yahel Sherman started DJing in Israel's underground rave scene in the 1990s. He put out his first album, 'The Sound of Yahel,' in 1997. A few years later, his track 'Tsunami' became a staple in clubs and festivals, one of those tunes that just seemed to stick around. Other tracks like 'Bomb Creator' and 'Butterfly' followed, keeping his name in the mix.

He's worked with some of the bigger names in trance and techno, including Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten. His sets are known for being high-energy, sometimes incorporating live instruments. While he's had his share of attention for being outspoken, the music itself, driving basslines and those soaring melodies on tracks like 'Last Man In The Universe', is what people usually talk about.

In 2003, he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. He kept producing and performing through it, which a lot of his fans took note of. He's put out a steady stream of singles and remixes since, like 'I See Your Face' with Kandita and 'Deeply Disturbed,' maintaining a presence without much of the usual fanfare.
